Exergen Attends Wal-Mart State House Day 2015

On Tuesday, June 23, 2015 Exergen showed their support to Wal-mart by attending Wal-mart State House Day 2015 at the Massachusetts State House in Boston, MA.

The event included Wal-Mart store managers, Wal-Mart vendors, and state legislators.

It was over 10 years ago that Exergen signed a deal to distribute its thermometers in Wal-Mart stores and it needed room to grow. So with the help of a program created by Citizens Bank and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it used a $2 million loan to buy a larger building, and add 50 jobs to support the demand of Wal-Mart.

The campaign was launched at Exergen’s facility in Watertown, MA with former Governor Mitt Romney attending. Governor Romney got a fast and accurate temperature taken by Dr. Francesco Pompei on that day.

And on this day, Governor Charlie Baker got a fast and accurate temperature taken by Exergen Customer Service Manager, Stan Orluk. They both recorded normal temperatures.

To this day Wal-Mart is continuing to help the economy of Massachusetts by opening new stores and partnering with local manufacturers and community service groups. Exergen thanks them for their continued partnership and support.

Jenn’s Review Blog Features the Exergen TemportalScanner

Jenn from Jenn’s Review Blog recently wrote a review for the Exergen TemportalScanner Thermometer. Jenn starts out by stating how it is never fun to have sick kids around the house. She explains how big of a pain it is to get children to sit quiet and still for long enough to take their temperature by means of more traditional thermometers.

However, when it comes to the Exergen TemporalScanner, as Jenn says, “It literally only takes a second to get an accurate reading. It’s a simple press, scan, and read function that requires no waiting.” She says one of her favorite benefits of the TemporalScanner is the fact that she can get readings on her children’s temperatures while they are asleep without disturbing them. She makes it clear that there are no additional pieces to the thermometer which makes it easier to store and take with her on the go. As she declares in her closing sentence of the review, “I am thrilled with this thermometer and will not be going back to any other design.”

Her 3 Little Thinkers Reviews Exergen’s SmartGlow Thermometer

Nikki from Her 3 Little Thinkers blog recently reviewed the Exergen SmartGlow Thermometer. Nikki explains that she has 4 children and 2 of them are very young. In addition, her three year old is often sick and at that age it is difficult for ear and standard thermometers to read an accurate temperature. Nikki states that she was really excited to try the Exergen Temporal Scanner when she was first introduced to it.

The blogger then goes on to detail some of the main features of the Exergen SmartGlow Thermometer. Nikki really likes that she can “use this on my littles without even waking them up or turning on the lights” because of the illuminated display.  Furthermore, the thermometer automatically saves the last 8 temperature readings so users have the ability to look at previous readings. The thermometer also has a programmable beeper to indicate that it is taking a temperature, which can be turned off if desired. The blogger also notes that it comes with a plastic cover to protect the sensor as well as keep it clean. In addition, the thermometer shuts off after 30 seconds in case users forget to turn it off. Nikki closes the review by saying “I like this thermometer more than any that I have EVER owned.”

Living a Fit and Full Life Reviews Exergen Thermometer

Living a Fit and Full Life recently reviewed the Exergen TemporalScanner Thermometer. The blogger first explains that this thermometer is completely non-invasive and provides a quick and accurate temperature with a gentle swipe across the forehead.  Furthermore, the thermometer “has been clinically tested for accuracy compared to rectal thermometers and temperature sensors inserted in the heart during course of patient treatment and accepted for use in major hospitals…”

The blogger states that she constantly has issues with thermometers reading accurate temperatures. She tested the Exergen Thermometer on her daughter, who had a slight fever and then compared it to her own temperature, which read the normal average temperature. In addition, the blogger loves how easy the thermometer is to use and that she can scan her children’s foreheads without walking them up at night. The blogger closes the review by saying “This thermometer has given me accurate readings ever time and I only wish I’d discovered it sooner!”

Another Happy Blogger…!

Krista from Savory Savings blog recently reviewed the Exergen TemporalScanner Thermometer.  Like many mothers, Krista explains that it is difficult to get sick kids to sit still long enough to take their temperature.  Using the Exergen Thermometer she says, to get an accurate temperature, there is no need to hold kids down, instead “just a simply swipe” across their forehead.

The blogger further explains how easy the thermometer is with its illuminated display and quick temperature reading, in about two seconds. In addition, the thermometer has a silent mode feature so you can take sleeping children’s temperature without disturbing them. The blogger also states that another great feature is the memory bank that retains the last eight temperature readings for easy tracking.  Lastly, the thermometer can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Krista concludes the reviews by saying “I like that I can easily check the girls’ temperatures when they are sick, without disturbing them and will definitely recommend it to friends and give as a baby shower gift!”
